Effective Management of the following Personnel & IR functions to provide healthy work environment at Plant

o Managing Employee Relations at all levels.
o Handling various agitations of Workmen and maintaining cordial industrial relations in the organization through initiating settlement proceedings and enabling workers to voice their opinion on a common platform.
o Representing Management and dealing with all Labour Court & Industrial Tribunal cases.
o Handle all legal issues covering labour, civil laws.
o Supervising activities of the Time Office and maintenance of attendance; leave records, full and final accounts, which is necessary for processing payrolls of employees.
o Ensure compliance of all applicable Statutory Provisions.
o Managing, Contractor Cell & Canteen services.
o Enforcing discipline among employee by taking required disciplinary action.
o Chairing various Committees Meetings i.e. Welfare, Canteen & Housing etc.
o Participating in various Plant level committees i.e. Safety, Production & PMC.
o Handling Insurance Policies / matters and processing of claims in the event of loss / accident.
• Sustaining the records for Personnel & Administration Department (Employees’ Personal Files, Attendance Registers, Performance Appraisal, Contractors’ Agreements, Contractor Registers, Leave Register, Accident Register, Form VIII, etc.).
• Liaising with P.F, ESI, DLC, Administration, Municipal Corporation, Pollution Control Board, Electricity Board and other government departments related to Personnel/ Industrial Relations functionaries
• Negotiations and amicably settling disputes with the Union and maintaining discipline & harmonious working environment across all employee levels.
• Monitor statutory compliance at all levels involving liaison with external agencies, govt. authorities, etc.
• Lead IR department in the Unit.
• Handle the Statutory Compliances (FCMS & CLRA) of the unit.
• Handle Disciplinary matrix-From Show cause to Termination.
• Grievance Mechanism
• Handle canteen management system

• Expertise:
o Must be able to handle Strike at plant
o Grievance Handling of the plant
o Day to day Issues of Union.
o Negotiated with Union for the wage settlement
• Instrumental in implementing:
o New IR functions at plant
o Performance Management System
o Capacity Building of work force on Japanese Concept 5 S and TPM
o Grievance redressal policy
o Training programmes to senior employees for grievance redressal (capability cubes)
• SECURITY SERVICES:
• To ensure Security & Safety of our people, plant & property by way of:
• Planning deployment of Security guards to achieve above objective.
• Networking with all concerned to maintain & improve intelligence service.
• Ensuring training of security guards to enable them to deliver effective service.
• Reviewing security performance regularly to avoid theft, fire and anti-social act
