As a data team, we work collaboratively with partners
across product, engineering, operations and growth to develop business insights and make actionable
recommendations. Our data is a small tight-knit group and you will play a big part in defining the culture,
technical direction and structure of the team as we continue to grow.
As Lead Business Analyst, you will work closely with stakeholders from business, product, operations and
growth to strategize, plan and develop sophisticated data systems for business goals and processes. You
will also be responsible for managing and mentoring our stellar team of business analysts.
Collaborate and work closely with team leads across the business to understand and support
Set the data strategy for working with engineers on ensuring that we capture the
right data to working with business stakeholder to build analytical models to help the client be a
robust, democratised, data-driven organisation
Recruit, support, coach and develop high-performing business analysts.
Drive analytics projects and experiments from end to end. Translate a business question into an
analytical framework, generate insights through analysis and effectively communicate
You’re excited by what we’re doing, and you can’t wait to explore our data
You have 5+ years of experience in business analytics with at least 2 years as a Lead Analyst.
You have experience working together and collaborating with senior business stakeholders and
You strive for improvement in your work and that of others, proactively identifying issues and
You’re familiar with using a variety of Data Analytics tools (from cloud based visualisation tools
like Looker, PowerBI to local data analytics and crunching systems), and query languages
like SQL. You know when to pick the right tool, and can help others do the same
Knowledge of engineering tools like Python, Airflow, Postman etc is a plus.
You consider yourself an empathetic leader and have experience managing a team and you
really enjoy that part of the job
